Q:

What does it mean: "Certified by MMBDC"?
|
A: |
MMBDC certification is a
qualifying process that assures the corporate buyer that an individual
business is Minority-owned and controlled. For MMBDC purposes, the
minority-owned business "...is not less than 51% owned and operated
by U.S. citizens; the minority owners are active in management and daily
business operation."
MMBDC stands for Michigan Minority Business Development Council, a
vital liason between minority suppliers, and major corporations and
institutions that demand quality products and services at a competitive
price.
